This charming old stone house is located right on the canal, offering a scenic view of the water and easy access for those who want to explore the area. the rooms are cozy and clean, with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. the hostess is friendly and helpful, offering assistance and even translating for non, French speakers. the breakfast is self, serve and adequate, allowing guests to start their day off right.

The Wi, Fi can be unreliable at times, making it difficult to stay connected.

The location of the hotel was perfect, with beautiful views of the canal and town center. It was a short walk to reach the main attractions, making it convenient for exploring. The hostess, Sophie, was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. She even helped us make a reservation at a popular local restaurant. The facilities were great, especially the bikes available for hire, which allowed us to explore the scenic surroundings at our own pace.

I couldn't find anything negative about our experience at this hotel. The only downside was having to leave after just a weekend.

The property offers stunning views of a beautiful body of water and is conveniently located near a boatyard. It is kept very clean and the hostess is charming. The breakfast provided is delicious and includes homemade options. a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The toilet seat was loose, which was a slight inconvenience. Additionally, the room on the ground floor was a bit small.

I recently stayed at Le Grand Bassin for a few nights and it was absolutely perfect. The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the Grand Bassin and Castelnaudrey. The host, Sophie, was incredibly helpful and even booked a table for us at the best Cassoulet restaurant in town. The breakfast was delicious, with homemade jams and pastries. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and the bed was very cozy. I also appreciated the free parking on site. it was a wonderful experience.

    I do recommend this hotel.

The room on the ground floor was perfect for me, with a spacious layout and a convenient walk-in shower. the manager, Sophie, went above and beyond to help us, especially on Easter Monday when shops were closed. She even called around to assist us non-French speakers. the location was fantastic, offering picturesque views of the Grand Bassin and easy access to the town. Sophie, who spoke excellent English, made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Le Grand Bassin Bed & Breakfast. Cons: Was all great! 😊.
